Ricotta Chesse : Ricotta is an Italian whey cheese made from whey residues from the production of other cheeses such as sheep's, cow's, goat's milk or Italian buffalo. It is prepared in the same way as other whey cheeses, by coagulating proteins remaining after using casein to produce cheese, primarily albumin and globulin. Healthy cheese: Ricotta cheese, like all cheeses, is rich in calcium and contains many other vitamins such as vitamin A, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B12, vitamin K, potassium iodide, nutrients, vitamins and zinc. Taste and texture : Ricotta is a soft cream cheese with a thick and smooth texture. Its mild taste and low salt content make it ideal for use with both sweet and savory dishes. It can also be exposed to air or oven to produce a harder and sharper-tasting cheese that can be grated.
