Lebanese Shish Barak

Shish Barak are Arabic dumplings that are popular in countries such as Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

The first recipe was published in a cookbook at the beginning of the 15th century and this dish is still prepared this way without much change.

Shish Barak is made from dough stuffed with meat and spices and served with yogurt sauce.

The base of the sauce is yogurt, garlic and coriander (in some recipes mint is used instead of coriander).
