Overview
Handmade by the magnificent ceramicist Maria Levina. Her Maria Levine project is filled with deep engineering and high aesthetics. The cup was designed specifically for brewing coffee in drip bags. It not only solves a number of problems that we may encounter when brewing, but also allows us to brew stably without using scales. Requirements for an ideal coffee cup for drip coffee: • Sufficient height: so that up to 200 ml of water is spilled through the drip bag, while the bottom of the bag does not touch the liquid after spilling. • The desired width of the cup rim: so that the drip clings to the cup steadily and does not slide off during infusion (up to 8 cm). • A special label — cutting, marking, color border — so that a coffee lover without scales can understand, without using scales, where these recommended 180 ml are. • Aesthetics is at Marias discretion here. I only asked to use light tones of the inner surface of the cup so that the coffee level could be seen.
