This sauce has a honey-sweet, rich taste with a slight haze aroma, allowing the dish to open up in a new way. It contains fermented soybeans, garlic, sweet potatoes, pickled peppers, sesame paste, star anise, cinnamon and cloves. Traditionally used for Peking duck, Asian spring rolls. It is served with vegetables, sliced, beef, pork or chicken.
