Ajvar is a Serbian national dish, popularly nicknamed “the poor man’s black caviar”, ideal for grilled meat and kebabs! Bizim Tarla ajvar is prepared according to a home recipe, without preservatives or artificial flavors. Ajvar can be an excellent addition to sandwiches, the basis for multi-layered sandwiches, or a vegetable addition to hot dishes (then it is served in a separate bowl). In addition, this thick, aromatic sauce is often added to scrambled eggs, as well as cold appetizers, which are served in the form of a variety of rolls. It is interesting that many ajvar lovers like to simply eat this sauce without any additives - straight from the vase with a teaspoon.
