Our dried basil is made from pure, high-quality, cut and sifted organic Egyptian basil leaves (Ocimum basilicum). This is a great choice for your culinary needs.

We do not use GMOs or ETO (ethylene oxide), which is considered carcinogenic by the Environmental Protection Agency. Our dried basil is not irradiated and is certified organic by the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) and Kosher certified by the Kosher Standard Association (KSA).

The flavor of our dried basil is pungent, aromatic, woodsy, herbaceous, and sweet, with slightly minty notes. It's the real deal.

To achieve the freshest flavor, add Simply Organic Basil near the end of cooking time. For tomato sauces, we recommend using one teaspoon per cup.
